The Vinum Project is a collection of images curated to engage fresh conversations and explore new perspectives for how we view wine. To date the project has had three gallery showings with a third scheduled for Fall 2019. The stylistic range of the images is always evolving but the core theme remains the same. To explore a subject in wine that is technically accurate but often conveyed from a stiff or outdated approach. By inserting color, humor and at times a sensual touch, The Vinum Project is a new dynamic is the age old industry of fermented grape juice.
All images are true photographs and no digital compositing or manipulating was used to create the images other than general clean up, retouching and color correcting.
Some images were shot using all natural light and others were shot in studio.
The aim of this project is to demystify wine by focusing a fresh lens on the subject, bringing it into today’s contemporary lifestyle.
